Bike Paths in Fort Myers - Summerlin Road from Colonial Blvd. to Shell Point Road just east of the Sanibel Causeway. The paths offer visitors a shaded tour of the city's streets, including a pass by the Edison and Ford estates. Six Mile Cypress Blvd. from Colonial Blvd. to Daniels Parkway in the southern part of Fort Myers leads to Six Mile Cypress Slough, a wetlands preserve.

Eco-Safari in the Everglades - full day trips into the Everglades include activities such as hiking, airboat rides, photo drives and jungle cruises with highly trained guides. Lee County Sports Complex Hammond Stadium - The main attraction is a 7,500-seat stadium in which the Minnesota Twins play their spring training games. Local baseball teams that play in the stadium include Twins affiliates Miracle of the Class A Florida State League and the Rookie-level Gulf Coast League Twins. Located south of the city near I-75 at 14100 Six Mile Cypress Pkwy.
Little Hickory Island Beach Park - facilities include picnic area, restrooms, handicap access and showers. Good for swimming, surf fishing and windsurfing. Near Bonita Beach in Fort Myers.
Lover's Key State Park - 1616-acre park known for its secluded beaches, lagoons, mangrove lined estuaries, wetland trails, and wildlife sightings. Open from 8:00am - sundown daily. Located at 8700 Estero Blvd., Fort Myers Beach. It is 10.5 miles west of I-75 at exit 116.
Naples Fort Myers Greyhound Track - year-round season, daily from Dec. 26 through Easter. Five or six days live racing the remainder of the year. Also features simulcast horse racing and a poker room. Located off I-75 (exit 116, Bonita Beach Rd., two miles west) between Ft. Myers and Naples on the southeast corner of Old US 41 and Bonita Beach Road.
Port Sanibel Marina - full service facility offers showers, restrooms, laundry room, ship's store with ice, snacks and drinks, a bait and tackle shop, fuel, picnic area, fresh water, electricity, and a mechanic. There is also wet and dry dockage, with slips up to 65 feet available. Tours and cruises are also available for those that don’t want to drive. One mile East of Sanibel Causeway at the four-lane intersection of Summerlin Rd/ and Port Comfort Rd. in Fort Myers, FL.
Tarpon Street Pier -provides free fishing access to the Caloosahatchee River. Located downtown in Fort Myers, it is best fished March - May and November - December. Open all day, every day. Take I-75 to exit 22 (Colonial Blvd. S. R. 873), west to U.S. 41 (Cleveland Ave.), turn right. At the Caloosahatchee Bridge follow the sign age to downtown. At the Monroe St. intersection turn left and continue 3 blocks to the pier.
