Fort Myers Beaches

Fort Myers beaches are more diverse in their offerings than other area beaches. These sandy spots are great for shell searching excursions, boardwalks, or exploring the salt marshes with the famous Florida mangroves. While the interior has magnificent beaches for families with a multitude of services and nearby amenities, some of the exterior beaches are great for people looking for seclusion or increased privacy. Although still public accessed beaches, the parks and beaches in this end of the peninsula are a little off the beaten track and can offer a less congested experience at the beach mostly due to the reduced offering of amenities and services. Parking and washrooms are generally available. As always, the beaches at Fort Myers are naturally beautiful with glistening white diamond sand and relaxing ocean surf.
