Bonita SpringsWeather
Wondering about what the weather's like in Bonita Springs? The cooler autumn and winter temperatures are moderated by balmy breezes off the Gulf of Mexico. Our rainfall tapers off and umbrellas are put away.
When the sultry days of spring and summer return, the breezes off the Gulf and the afternoon rain cool us off. Each year, the area receives some 56 inches of rain. Much of it arrives during afternoon thunderstorms that roll in from the Everglades, often accompanied by indiscriminate lightening that strikes ahead of the rain. Locals know how to get off the golf course or beach and scoot indoors. The rain storms, though intense, are usually short-lived, and the sunsets are glorious.
